It's that time of year once again. Time to clean out your closets, tidy up the attic and look to see what you've been storing in your garage for too long. The Ripley Free Library will hold its annual yard sale on June 7th & 8th. Proceeds go to the Summer Reading Program. We will accept just about anything that's in good condition including furniture, toys, clothes, knick knacks, computers, electronic equipment...you get the idea. Please drop off your donations during our open hours of operations, and from all of us here, thank you for your generosity.
The library will now offer classes on the first Monday and first Saturday of each month at 10 a.m. for anyone who would like to learn how to use our library interloan system. It's easy, it's fun, and you won't believe what's at your fingertips! Stop in and we'll show you how it's done!

Beginner Gardening - Back to Basics with Master Gardener, Cheryl Wahlstrom. Cheryl is from the Cornell Co-op Extension. The class runs from
6 - 7:30 p.m. and is free to the public.
The Ripley Free Library has been closed due to plumbing problems, but we are now officially open once again! Many thanks for your patience during this ordeal and many thanks to the volunteers who gave of their time in correcting this problem.
Ripley Free Library's Annual Art Show has returned. We have paintings, photography and even a handmade guitar, yet we are still looking for more! If you have any artistic works that you would like to share, drop it off during our open hours of operation or call 736-3913 for more details. The exhibit runs from March 11 - March 30. Stop in and check it out!
Calling all Poets and readers of Poetry! The Ripley Free Library will kick off March, the Month of the Arts with Poetry Night on March 5th at 6:30 p.m. If you would like to recite some of your original works or read some of your favorite poets' material, register now or call us at 736-3913. Refreshments will be served.
